Other Bands
I've Played in:
- A lot of rock and jazz bands in
California and New York
- I wrote tunes, sang and played guitar for my own alternative project
under the name Lori Keith. It was kindof Patti Smith meets Sheryl Crow
sound.
- Brother Red (a side project of Red Young's)
Musical Inspiration:
- BB King was the main inspiration for me to start playing guitar.
- Other inspirational artists range from George Harrison, John Coltrane,
Wes Montgomery, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bill Evans, Billie
Holiday to Frank Sinatra.
Fave Personal Motto: "I
don't care if I never play the guitar, I'm gonna keep on it until i
do!" (borrowed from Wes Montgomery)
2002 Quiche - now known as Lorree Lerner, is still based in LA
and is currently working on her own jazz album, produced by Red Young.
