Y2K
saw Tim in both Florida and California (with sometimes blonde, sometimes
black, sometimes midnite blue or combos of both - hair!). He officially
relocated to LA to assist Michael with The Coconut
Club Orchestra. In
his spare time Tim is working on recording and producing his own songs
in his recording studio..
For a few cool side projects, he's been working around the LA club scene
with mood-rocker, singer/guitarist, Andrew Sherman and The
Andrew Sherman Vehicle as a performer and producer.

Tim has also been playing trombone, percussion and giving some more
backup vocals in thee coolest LA clubs with the actor/comedian, Andy
Dick. Andy has a band called, Andy
Dick and The Bitches of
the Century. Have you seen the whacky comedy show on MTV called
"The Andy Dick Show' yet? Hold on to your pigeons when
you see them in the demented Marilyn Manson meets Marry Poppins
band video segment - whoa. The B*tches are working up a national tour
with full television support as well as CD Release partys ... as they
get ready to tour the new album - complete with cover art of Andy painted
by Manson.

And for the rock and roll edge, even Slash (yes, from the Guns
'n' Roses) asked asked Tim to be a part of Slash's
Snakepit...on a bunch of dates. 'ain't life grand' (that's the name
of the album). He's also arranging horns for some classic Guns n Roses
tunes. Here's an action shot with (L to R) Slash, Jimmy Z, Lee Thornburg
and Tim at The Whiskey A Go Go on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
(These photos were taken by Tim's childhood chum-gone-bigtime,
Karl Larsen. Karl's photos can been seen monthly in Rolling
Stone) Slash is still the icon in his playing and in his look.
During a night out at The Magic
Castle, Slash and his wife, Perla told us they are expecting
a baby boy - London - born Fall 2002. Tis true it was conceived at Ron
Wood's home in London. (L to R: Karl Larsen, Slash, Perla (Mrs.
Slash), Stace Bass and Tim). You can click on the photo for larger
image of, yes, Slash wearing a tie Tim lent to him. Check out Slash's
new personal website, complete with Karl's photos; www.Slashonline.com
Be sure to go to the 'extras section' and play the 'Slash' game - guitar
players will love it!
Tim toured with Mike on the national Community Concert tour 2002
with his Florida Swingerheads.
Classic Swingerhead moments: On
tour at Big Bear I had to solder my trombone back together with a blowtorch
(just like Dad taught me). And then there was the time my slide flew
out into the audience of 5,000 fans at Summerfest
Tim has been
working with Michael Andrew since May 28, 1998
(they met on a ship in Hawai'i)
