The listened to Al's stories of recording with Frank Sinatra
in this very same room.
Michael Invited the legendary guitarist, AL VIOLA,
to record at Capitol Studios in Hollywood for Mike's appearance
in the movie "Heartbreakers" and for his upcoming
Frank Sinatra Tribute album. Al has performed with many great
artists such as Harry James, Ray Anthony, Les Brown, and Nelson
Riddle. He also played mandolin on 'The Godfather Theme'.
Al played with Frank Sinatra on most of his recordings, television
specials and his appearances in Las Vegas and concerts around
the world. Al brought the same L5Gibson he recorded with Sinatra
in this very same studio.
Al is still performing monthly and maintains a website rich
in musical history.
In November 2002 Al sat in with the Swingerheads for a memorable
night at The Derby in Hollywood.
